Healthy home office habits are a must if you have a virtual office, especially if it is in your home!
Remember this is your business, you are the boss and you are number one! Without you, your business does not exist.
Working out of your home office means that you could be distracted all day long with things that do not relate to your business or activities and events that do not help your business grow.
Set you business hours and only do business during those hours. Yes, take a break and get some fresh air, but keep your hands off the dirty laundry!
Think healthy. Make your home office habits healthy. Around the 7th year of having my virtual business and working out of my home my weight gain was noticeable, but more so it was not welcomed by me. In January, 2016 I revamped my diet and my work habits. As a result, I lowered my cholesterol by 40+ points and lost 16 pounds! Determination, motivation and organization all came into play to help make that happen.
In week 5 of this blog — 10 Years Later! — I mention “organization” as a crucial skill in helping my business be successful. Organization not only helps my business run smoothly, but it definitely plays a crucial role in developing and adhering to healthy eating habits while working at home.
In 2018, The Virtual Office of Debbie Leveski, LLC will celebrate its 11th year and will be offering 1:1 coaching and group seminars on topics like: Healthy Home Office Habits, Healthy Lunches and Snacks for the Home Office, by Chef YOU, Is a Virtual Business in your Future, just to name a few.
