Hi Debbie. Right now there is a lot of distrust within KNTA due to a lack of transparency over the last few years. Are there any concrete steps you plan to take to improve transparency in our community?
“Concrete steps” will need to be determined after the new Board has had a chance to discuss and come to an agreement on how to handle the matter. Hopefully the new Board will continue to send out newsletters, letters and have informational meetings as needed.
It will take some time for a new Board to get up to speed and in the rhythm of reviewing Board packets, financial reports, many emails and finding the time in their daily schedules to attend to all matters that concern KNTA. If Board members want to be effective as a Board member, they have to find the time and juggle their schedules to include KNTA as a part of their daily routine. Thank you for your question. – Debbie
